The Cat got the Cream

Before I start the main article this week I want to just highlight the superb talent in the community once more. The cosplay contest costumes were fabulous and many of them deserve the prizes on offer, but alas they can't all win. In my eyes though they are all winners and should be applauded for their creativity. Often the winners will get all the plaudits, but as I've put a couple of cosplays together myself now, it takes a lot of effort and creativity to do it. So everyone who entered should get congratulations.

Secondly I've going to show you something else cool from the community. Karifur of the custom token fame has branched out to making card sleeves using her Booda design and I've gotta say that they look fabulous! My Kojo and Booda deck looks great in them!

So onto the main subject of the article. I was talking last week about the recent spoilers with a fellow Bravos officianado, The Bravos Hatter, and the subject of Arcolano Milk came up. Hatter mentioned that its a good fit for Kojo as Booda, being a token does not suffer any penalties for having fleeting. This cliked in my head and started me thinking that perhaps there will be an evolving archetype with Trial by Frost. We already have Kojo Foundry that makes use of the cards that put tokens into play from reserve (Foundry Armorer and Ordis Spy), but what if we extended that idea to make these tokens all better. With Helping Hand to save the core character for another go, we could actually build up some very nice plays with the Milk. If Arcolano Milk is already in play the turn before on the Companion side then Booda will get the cream too. 

Now for this to be more of a fleshed out archetype I think we've want one or two more token makers in this vein, but it will be Christmas soon and I'm hoping for some nice presents for Bravos from Equinox.

One of the main features of Kojo is that he doesn't have much synergy to peg onto, so it would be nice to have something that can really synergise with.
